Ekotekt awarded at the PropTech Startup Realty Awards 2024
This startup, a member of our Urban Tech Helsinki program, has been recognized as one of the top 13 category winners at the prestigious PropTech Startup Europe Realty Awards 2024. This remarkable achievement marks a significant milestone in their journey to revolutionize the construction industry with sustainable, 3D-printed solutions.
The PropTech Startup Europe Realty Awards, organized by the European PropTech Association and FINNOVA Foundation, is Europe’s largest PropTech and ConTech competition, with the support of the European Commission and other major European institutions. With over 400 applicants, Ekotekt was selected as a standout innovator for our work in sustainable construction, particularly through our pioneering use of hempcrete and digital fabrication technologies.
According to Ekotekt, their success wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support from their partners:
- Clean Future Accelerator Programme
- NEB Accelerator from Climate KIC
- Urban Tech Helsinki
- Aalto Startup Center
- Business Finland, Business Helsinki, EIT Digital
- Our dedicated advisor, Jukka Hakola, and many others.
Congratulations Ekotekt for this outstanding achievement!
