Consistency is key to building recognition and trust in the Aalto Startup Center brand. That’s why we’ve outlined the essentials: our logo, color scheme, typography, and visual style, along with advice on how to use them effectively.

The logo is the cornerstone of our visual identity and must appear on all communications.
Note: To maintain consistency, the Aalto Startup Center logo must be used exactly as it appears in the files provided. The logo may be scaled proportionately to fit a given design, but it must not be altered in any other way.
Please note that the following rules apply to both horizontal and vertical versions of the logo.

Trademark policy
All trademarks belonging to Aalto Startup Center—registered or otherwise—are covered by this policy.
If you’re partnering with us on a particular project, feel free to get in touch so we can go over how these guidelines relate to your collaboration. For all other uses, please follow the rules outlined below.
These guidelines set out the correct use of the Aalto Startup Center name, logo, and our slogan (“From Ideas to Impact”).
If you are a third party wishing to reference Aalto Startup Center in your marketing, indicate compatibility with our programs, or offer related services, please follow these requirements.
Our brand assets are valuable and must be used appropriately. By adhering to these guidelines, you help us protect and strengthen our reputation.
Use of our trademarks confirms your acknowledgment that Aalto Startup Center is the sole owner of these marks. Any goodwill generated through their use benefits Aalto Startup Center. Please ensure our brand elements are not altered or misused.
Consistent and proper use of our brand helps maintain the high standards and innovative reputation associated with Aalto Startup Center.
You may use the Aalto Startup Center name, logo, and the slogan “From Ideas to Impact” when referencing our programs or initiatives, provided your usage complies with these guidelines.
- Please ensure that your use of our brand elements does not create confusion or suggest any official partnership, endorsement, or approval by Aalto Startup Center unless this has been specifically agreed upon. We ask that you do not modify, combine, or adapt our name or slogan in any way, and avoid using them in a manner that could harm our reputation or diminish their value.
- The Aalto Startup Center trademarks and slogan must not be incorporated into your own brand names, trademarks, domain names, or service marks, nor should they be used in ways that could be mistaken for our identity.
If your intended use falls outside these guidelines or involves a more formal collaboration, please contact us to discuss whether a separate trademark license is needed. For more details on proper usage, please refer to our visual identity guidelines.

Aalto Startup Center may revise or update these guidelines, including the permissions described, at any time without prior notice. Please note that this document does not grant any licenses or rights, nor should it be interpreted as an endorsement, partnership, or approval—explicit or implied—of any third-party products or services, regardless of their connection to Aalto Startup Center.
If you have been using the Aalto Startup Center name or our slogan “From Ideas to Impact” before June 23, 2025, you may continue to do so as long as your use aligns with the requirements set out in this policy
If you realize that your previous use of our trademarks or slogan does not meet these standards, we ask that you reach out to us as soon as possible. Please be aware that past use that does not comply with this policy does not grant you the right to continue such use moving forward.
Should we contact you about your use of our brand elements, we expect prompt action to address any concerns. Likewise, if you notice any misuse or confusing use of the Aalto Startup Center name, slogan, or trademarks by others, or anything that goes against these guidelines or our visual standards, please let us know at startupcenter@aalto.fi
