Aalto Startup Center in Taiwanese media
Demo Day took place on March 4th. Almost 800 people came to A Grid to learn about innovations emerging from Aalto Startup Center. Soon after that, an article about it was published on one of the biggest Taiwanese media outlets: The Central News Agency (CNA Taiwan).
The article got syndicated on many different news outlets such as Yahoo News Taiwan and multiple others. According to our data, over 47 million unique views were reached. This is for sure an amazing accomplishment and something to be proud of!
"We focus our time and resources on accompanying them to grow, which is the key to our service. Our ecosystem is very collaborative and can really work together, which is our secret weapon" states Marika Paakkala, Head of Aalto Startup Center, in the interview.

Even more recently, an article was posted from another Taiwanese outlet. In this case, Business Weekly focused its 2001 issue on Finland's strategy of continuing to be happy in the AI era. The journalist interviewed 4 of our Research to Business projects: Vesti, Cryotherm, PrsQu, and Cornea Sense.
Article 4 is titled "One Company Falls, the Whole Country Wakes Up: Nokia's Fall Turns Finland into a Startup Nation". When mentioning Aalto Startup Center, the article focuses on how we "boast an impressive 80% survival rate ten years after their founding". According to the piece, "in the rise of Finland's startup ecosystem, the education system played the role of a locomotive, with Aalto University being the most representative."
