Research to Business pre-incubator
In partnership with Business Finland, Aalto University's schools and Aalto Innovation Services, Aalto Startup Center provides incubation and coaching for research-based teams on their path to commercialisation and forming a standalone spinout company.
The Research to Business pre-incubator programme is open year-round to original innovations and inventions based on research at Aalto University. The programme is especially for projects that are at the idea stage and that focus on technological research and commercialization.
Program helps research to business teams to gain higher innovation readiness levels and to make a smooth transition from academia to industry.
Coaching includes e.g. go-to-market & partnership strategy, funding strategy, team building, preparation for investor due diligence and more.
Ones the research to business cases are ready to spinout from Aalto, technology transfer process comes into place.
