Meet Valery Dremov, Project Assistant & Creative Director

1. Could you please give us a short introduction about yourself? (Name, position in ASUC, or current study status)

My name is Valery and I am currently part of Aalto Startup Center team as creative expert and general assistant.

2. Can you tell us a bit about your professional background? For example, what the Master’s study is about?

I have studied marketing and I have matriculation examination degree.

3. Can you explain a bit about your role at Aalto Startup Center?

My role is to do creative stuff and also generally help my colleagues.

4. So, what brought you to Aalto Startup Center originally?

Interest in Aalto and businesses, and the option to accomplish the civil service instead of military one.

5. After a few weeks of working here, do you enjoy the experience? Which part is your favorite so far?

I do enjoy it, the colleagues are very nice and the environment as well. My favorite part is the evolvement of different events and creative work.

6. What have you been working on recently?

I had recently big projects such as short films and ongoing project related to online app.

7. What’s your preferred work style?

My preferred work style is to work on computer, in different places not always on the same spot.

9. Any plans or goals for 2025?

In 2025 I am planning to apply to Aalto University.

I am also working on a product but rather as online project Ripledd - Welcome.
