This session will explain how to access the Brazil–Finland TechMakers program, a joint initiative by Business Finland and EMBRAPII (Brazilian Company of Research and Industrial Innovation), with the support of ApexBrasil (the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Startups will learn:
- How the program works and the co-funded R&D opportunities available;
- How to use the 1-to-1 matching platform to connect with Brazilian partners;
- How Finnish startups can benefit from a free support service offered by ApexBrasil and Strivit: a project assessment and tailored partner mapping in Brazil.
The session will clarify the process, eligibility, and next steps for applying to the open call.

Eduardo Tourinho – Founder and CEO of Strivit, Co-founder and Director of the Portuguese Association of Startups, and partner of ApexBrasil. Eduardo works with ApexBrasil to support Finnish startups in identifying and connecting with Brazilian partners for international R&D projects.
